In addition to finding a castle with Minako today, in mid-July i'm going up to the Wisconsin Dells with mah fraternity siblings to create shenanigans in the woods. AWWW YISSSSSS

And here I'm just boringly making trips to movie theaters around home to catch the movies I wanna see on the big screen.

Oh yeah I'm gonna try to go to Maryland in August too to visit my roommate and one of my friends.

Also castles. That may be postponed until tomorrow though.

So today, we went to a manga museum of Shotaro Ishinomori, some mangaka who was born in Tome, the city I'm in. Then I got pocky. Then we visited the fire station, where I experienced an earthquake (a simulated one). Then we had lunch. I ate rice, and SOBA NOODLES WHICH ARE FANTASTICACULAR. Also some chicken-y stuff that I don't know what it's called.

Then we went to a store and I bought a roll-type thing filled with red bean paste which is sweet and delicious. Then we picked strawberries, which I gave to my host family. Then we went to Ito-san's home, he's the host for the two chaperones of the trip. His house is 140 years old, but in super-good condition. It's very Eastern, all sliding doors and tatami mats and such. It was pretty.

I'm at my host family's house now. We'll probably eat soon.

Ffffffff all of that sounds amaze, Riu. Reminds me why I am at least keeping my Japanese minor.

Sorry I really haven't been commenting and what not these past few days, I had job interviews and what not to keep up with. Things should be more stable now though so you can expect to see more of my dumb comments again.
